aneirin rubbed his hands together, his fingers still recovering from the biting cold that had managed to keep him from his home. he was thankful that the other offered his place for the time being. aneirin was still trying to accept random acts of kindness at face value rather as anything with manipulative sub-text. with the death of his father, he thought he would be free of the man’s influence. but, it was hard for the people to simply shirk off the horned king’s evil deeds and thus pinned them to aneirin. he couldn’t blame them. “thank you again. i will repay you as best i can. it’s funny: i willingly visited a cold, snowy place over and over again yet i still can’t seem to get the hang of dealing with it,” he said with a small laugh. “have you ever dealt with something like this before?”
