I'm watching the Suzuka race on my phone, but my mind is possessed by how the name Sebastian means venerable and how Seb spoke of Suzuka in such reverent words, "whoever is up there had a touch on Suzuka" and Charles on the 10th anniversary of Jules's tragic incident, his helmet in tribute, how he may be tempting fate and turn into a sacrifice. this circuit brings up some potent memories that it feels like the past is ricocheting into the here and now

The world of P&P fans seems to be pretty split along the lines of the 2005 edition with Kiera Knightly and BBC miniseries edition with Colin Firth. My personal favorite is the 2005 one because it was my introduction to Austen but they’re both fairly solid adaptations. The question is if you want something you can easily watch in one sitting or if you want something that is more of a marathon.

Our troop -- which I just remembered you’re supposed to spell troop and not troupe -- had mostly names like Storyteller, Fox, Roundup, etc. But then new girls joined and we had to find camp names for them without actually going to camp, so it devolved into “favorite kind of soda” things (Fizz, Crush, Dr B). Truly tragic

Aaa, thanks! The base is actually illuminator, which I’m not entirely sure you’re supposed to put on your eyes. But, c’mon, what’s more important -- makeup safety or painting your eyelids bright gold?!?!

 so…how do i treat a minor burn?  emphasis on...

1) put it in cool water for 5-10 mins 2) disinfecting ointment/gently disinfect 3) anesthetic aloe Vera gel, or the closest u can get. Soothing stuff basically 4) wrap it gently in a bandage or gauze 5) Motrin? Tea? something comforting for the pain :>

i should also mention that this happened tuesday morning, and my reaction at the time was to keep serving croissants and coffee. in my defense, the burn is just above my right elbow, which isn’t super visible at least to me, especially under a sweater, but wow, it looks kinda angry oops

& i’m interpreting no.5 as: pet more cats; maybe get some bubble tea. this is also an open invitation
