HEY SO THE UNBELIEVABLY BRILLIANT, TALENTED @chuck-the-goon DREW A SCENE FROM ONE OF MY SAM/RASHID STORIES AND I’M LOSING MY MIND. I never, ever thought I’d see an artist draw them. That’s not even an exaggeration, holy fuck. @chuck-the-goon, this is just extraordinary? The light and shadow on their skin, their expressions? The earbuds? This is that one scene in “The Quick Ones” when the interview surveillance is just so fucking dull, so—you nailed it. They had to occupy themselves somehow!

Ok so I'll try post my little diatribe before the fic rec! Goodness posting in a new way does take it out of one (fans self):

It's occurred to me now that my 13 yr old son (aka Alex the Gomens Fledgling) has started reading some fan fiction:

I read a LOT of our fandoms fanfiction and neglect to recommend or comment! Sometimes kudos doesn't cut it when the work is so good it is something you want to share with the son you see growing into his own hyperfixations.

Right now we're going through a lot of the older book based fics (Alex has a... systematic approach to things 😁😆) . I have so many to recommend and I'm probably so late to this particular party. But right just now if I could compliment irisbleufic for not just one fic but pretty much everything. Beautiful, beautiful work. Just astonishing.

Ineffable Wristwarmers

Now that they’ve been received by @irisbleufic I can share with all y’all the lovely Good Omens wristwarmers-not-socks I was working on these past two months. They took much longer than intended, even factoring in pattern searching and chart modifications. Oh well. They are done, and fun, and Iris likes them.
