Basically in the main story for my fantasy universe, mages- or just the uses of magic in general- are extremely frowned upon, it’s gotten to the point where the ruler of their land is starting a purge of all magic users! Oh no, such a tragedy! Okay but of course, Lee Faust, the amazing and astonishing “hero” (Hero isn’t the right word, they are honestly an anti-villain, someone who believes they are doing the “right thing” but are still being evil jerks.) has a plan “Kill our king and save the lives of the other magical users I could care less about!”

But of course, that’s not much of a plan, is it? And that’s why they are trying to find as many allies as possible, their group ranges from former members of the King’s personal guard who feel as if they had been wronged by the king himself, to liars and thieves, and to fellow mages, some of which he has known his entire life. With this ragtag group of lil’ misfits, he plans to launch an assassination plot on their ol’ pal,  the king.

Ah, look at me, rambling on ; w; this sounds stupid, doesn’t it?
