Moffat wrote some of my favourite stand alone stories and episodes from Dr Who but once they handed him the whole show I feel like he just… couldn’t handle longer stories lol. I’m still mad at how he ruined the weeping angels so completely by not knowing how to leave them alone :/

Lol my feelings on Moffat are well documented on this blog years ago and they’re mostly negative. But something I always found frustrating about his writing was how often there’d be like, the seed of something I liked and then the execution would just not at all go where I wanted it to go. Amy was a great example of that, but now years on I think it has left me with more overall affection for her than for the companions that followed her. The IDEA of Amelia Pond is very good and I can remember that feeling from way back when Eleventh Hour aired.

5. How many years did it take to get married or was it just not for them

I think they’d get married; Rhys probably grew up with marriage as a concept at least in the back of his mind on Planet Suburbia and I think Sasha deep down really longs for a normal, stable life and family so she’d probably really like the idea.

Probably not for a while though, until Atlas stops being like a weird shambles of an idea. Plus Sasha’s pretty young. Also I imagine it takes her a while to stop being spooked by the idea of a real relationship. Maybe like 5 years?

11. When they live together what kinda place do they live in? What does their home look like?

I feel like the place starts as Rhys’ -- in/near some Atlas compound or whatever -- and Sasha does the, like, casual move in where she stays over for longer and longer periods of time and eventually never leaves, taking over the space like a creeping vine. Probably pretty small (but feels big enough if you’re used to a space station and/or caravan), probably pretty techy and littered with Sasha’s eclectic debris, probably quite a fortress between sixty layers of paranoia security tech and Sasha’s personal collection-slash-arsenal.

IMO it’s worth a watch even if only because you’ve played Telltale and Telltale style games and it’s ...interesting to see what they do with that; the basic premise is the main character is designing a branching narrative game, but like... The First

it’s definitely very dark, classic black mirror style. and telltale games usually had more women in them than this ep :P
