Daywalker.
It’s been a Monday for sure.😬
And I can’t believe it’s only 11 days until Halloween!!!
I’ve got to go to more neighborhoods and check out all the decorations. 🎃👻🦇🐈⬛
For the new followers: this is me. I rarely do casual, but the PNW leaves traces, however subtle. Consider the $24 Columbia fuzzy jacket an anthropological experiment. It’s been cold enough for sure.
Hair alignment restored. Noted. I’m tired, but not malfunctioning and at least I don’t have a full Samsonite set under my eyes….yet. Fifteen years of accumulation finally reached a threshold today, and I acknowledged it.
The system didn’t reset. Survival leaves marks; humor’s one of them. I remain operational. Attentive. Slightly unnerving, as is the habit of people who notice too much?
More gutter punk than dirt hippie. Boots scuffed, not flowers tangled. Big news may arrive soon. When it does, it won’t come wearing sensible shoes. 💜
I turned 51 last week. Surreal!
Bettie Page Lingerie x Playful Promises. I have three sets of this lingerie. The other two are teal and then leopard print. Orchard Corset mesh waspie is 22”.
Latest art. Bats!
Sometimes I feel like I was born between worlds, a visitor in a place where faces shift and truths dissolve.
I think I would have felt more at home in the Black Lodge, where everything is strange and familiar all at once, where mirrors don’t reflect but answer, and reality hums with secrets.
I’ve been writing and drawing a lot and have so many stories to tell!
Here, I toss my misprints into the air…small rebellions, small joys, gestures that belong only to me.
Super fun, maybe, but also necessary, a way to mark the border between who I am and who I am becoming.
Experimenting with lighting, etc.
