Karna and Amangeaux having a class struggle, it's so real cause Karna has had to work sm this campaign and it's made her hardened while Amangeaux hasn't had to do as much to keep her power (she did have to marry someone she did not love and hide her baby showing that even in her powerful position she still has to hide and minimize herself) and that's why Amangeaux feels like she can leave. She feels like she can escape because she didn't work for it, but Karna did. Karna is watching not just Amangeaux leave but her time and work.
