Sorry that I don’t have a lot of details, I read so many fics that they kinda just start muddling together.
I read the fic in Ao3 and if I remember correctly it was a rewrite of the 7 years. I think it might’ve been mostly a Draco pov fic. The detail that I remember the most is that Draco decides to bond with an elf while he is still young (it might’ve been Winky?). Lucius gets very upset with him over this and they have a whole fight about it. The bond takes a toll on Draco for a while because of young he is and his magical core not being matured yet but as time passes it gets easier and better.
