want something where perhaps Jester comes to find out this supernatural thing (Mr. Crawling) used to be human ---- but likewise, he would find to what extent crawling was delt abuse by his own family. death by neglect, used and abused and locked away like a dirty secret. finding out that hes something centuries old w/ no recollection of his living life, of being human. so it wouldnt be something mr crawling would tell Jester himself. since he doesn't remember. but w/ jester's powers, maybe theres a way to see inside the head of a ghost, find those memories somewhere buried.

What would Jester care about more? That this thing was once human? Or that it too faced human cruelty? i wonder about it!

MAN OH MAN, RUBBIN MY GROSS LITTLE HANDS TOGETHER i have a lot of underdeveloped OC's that I've thought about wanting to develop throoooooough roleplay, but it's also a bit embarrassing to me to not have a lot of ideas already on characters i've made up? and i worry, like, what if i wanna change my portrayal? what if i decide later that part of their backstory is different? or their name is different? so i havent introduced any

ONEEEEE OC i have that ive been wanting to develop was an idea for this little neet lesbian that moved out on her own and is in college, and she's visited in her dreams by a monster that disguises itself as a girl she used to have a crush on but never pursued through internalized homophobia and misunderstanding of her own sexuality.

the MONSTER has a CRUSH ON HER, and it has NO WAY OF PRESENTING ITSELF HONESTLY that wouldnt terrify her, so it takes the form of an object of affection without understanding the complex human emotions surrounding that memory.

it also only wants to visit her in her dreams, but can visit her OUTSIDE OF HER DREAMS and CHOOSES NOT TO because it always ends up accidentally killing her in some way in her dreams.

because humans are fragile things. it doesn't know how to love. but it wants to.

this story is VERY UNDERDEVELOPED because im VERY PARTICULAR about how i engage with horror, it has to feel juuuuuust right otherwise i'll feel like it's lame and underwhelming... like i have ideas for how the monster might look?? or how it might end up accidentally killing her in her dreams?? but i dont really want to cement those ideas because i dont think theyre the best way of writing it.

ive thought about roleplaying her, though, and developing her personality with other people who might want to roleplay monsters???? but i also dont think many people roleplay monsters outside of, like, slashers. and those are usually pretty human to some extent. I'm interested in, like, cosmic horror esc things with her?
