John pulled up in the GMC to the small motel room the two men shared - it had been nearly two months since Sam had left -- and not surprisingly Dean was struggling a bit. Yet the father brushed the worry aside dealing with more pressing matters.

Work would always be there. Betrayal? Traitors? Oh they'd come and go. If you asked him those words would apply to his youngest son - yet he knew within himself that they actually would best fit him. Slamming the door behind him all thoughts of emotions left him.

"Got a pack of werewolves Dean. Grab your gear and get off your ass." His eyes fell judgmentally to his eldest and whatever had preoccupied him. Truthfully? He should be proud of who his son had become - not because of him, but in-spite.

Yet loss and anger blinded him.
