The sleek black town car seemed a little, out of place in a small, American town like this. A lot of people seemed to stop, and double take, as the car passed them. Tinted windows stopped them seeing inside the car, but thankfully allowed the passenger within, to see and judge their gawking faces. 'Bloody hell... What kind of place has he sent me to, now?'
The young woman in the back seat pondered, while sipping viscous, red, liquid from a champagne flute, double checking her phone for any new messages. Even though the windows were tinted, not to let much sunlight through, her eyes were still adorned, in her signature, dark black, shades. She toyed with a strand of her red hair, twirling it back and forth, 'twixt pallid fore and middle finger.
'Ms Hall, we're about to arrive.' The driver spoke, prompting her to look up; now this was more what she was expecting! House near a foreboding forest area, understated and dark, unlike their family name suggested. Gleeful. Nothing gleeful about this place at all, just the sort she loved, to do business with.
Her driver rolled down the window on his side, pressing the button on the gate; 'Ms Hall is here, for her meeting with Ms Gleeful.' He spoke, into the mic, waiting for the gate to be opened.
