The OAK Lie

The “OAK Thing” was never a thing. Dan’s response on that thread was so obviously a load of bull. He got called out for giving himself 6+ OAKS and pretended he was doing it to “see if there was still interest”. OAKs are arguably the single most valuable things on site, contested only by names. There was never any question of interest in OAKs and Dan knows it. Don’t tell me he’s so brilliant that he has managed to legitimately amass such absurd amounts of wealth but is unaware of the value of literally ONE OF A KIND things. No. He knows. He had to make up an excuse and it was a shit one. Res doesn’t have the staff to support doing OAKS again. Even if admins really wanted to see if OAKs were desired they could have done LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE other than give Dan 6+ of the most valuable fucking things on site and then wait to see if users noticed. A poll? An update asking for opinions? A contest or raffle to give away six OAKs? Fucking pop in the sb and be like, “Yall still want super cool unique pet art for just yourself that will have massive value?” Nevermind the fact that the OAKs he commissioned generated 0 income for the site but were still granted use as legitimate pet art. I would bet my whole ass that he didn’t even run it by Patrick. The idea of OAKs was to generate revenue for Rescreatu; revenue that would benefit the site & everyone who plays. Instead, once again, Dan knowingly robbed Rescreatu of income for personal gain. Each OAK he commissioned he paid Kirawra $80-$100 for (which is also less than OAKs were when they were a legit part of the site). That’s at least $480-$600 of income the site missed out on (minus the artist’s commission pay). And there is no other way to spin this. Sure, he agreed to do it for others that commissioned Kirawra, but there was never any announcement to let the rest of the site know this was an option. Probably because Kirawra is not employed by Rescreatu and therefor it would have been sketchy as hell to direct users to order from her. No hate to Kirarwa btw. I don’t know if she was aware the art would be used this way from the beginning but again - she’s not staff and she’s not obligated or expected to make good decisions for the site.

This is how much Dan prioritizes the site over his own desires. On blatant display. If this doesn’t tell you all you need to know about his motivation and morals when it comes to Rescreatu, idk what will. But hey as a gesture of good faith Dan, you could still put those OAKS to good use by giving them away! 😊👍

im not surprised by that sb one. yesterday an older user was asking for a price for elegant and all the staff were saying 250 million or something. im broke and dont care about names but that seems very low for that name. staff should be setting a good example and pricing fairly at least when someone asks but obviously they just want things at the expense of users. as long as they get what they want who cares about fairness right

It is Kalia's discord. It's moderated by Otachie, Lilith, Juke and Kozmotis, last I checked. I don't think it's ever been marketed as official, but it is certainly the biggest one I've seen, at about 30 users. I've seen a good amount of things suggested in there implemented on the site, including the change log, so I wouldn't agree that it's not helpful. It's just not accessible the way the forums are.

Here are the conversations I had with TWO staff members, if it looks like some points don’t make any sense, it’s because they deleted their messages!! Not suspicious at all right. Its a good thing I remember most of what they wrote. Lilith encouraged me to tell my story about Matt and then she thanked me for the information and provided me with Pat’s email. She encouraged me to let Pat know. But she told me he was on vacation and I should wait. Also Lilith agreed with me that it was suspicious and that she also thought the clearings were done manually. She told me she had access to a system that shows he exactly what people are doing when they are online, similar to users online, but more suited for staff, and she said not a lot of people have access to it. Normally I wouldn’t publish my conversations with other people, but that didn’t stop these two from doing it to me and getting me banned. I can only assume it was these two because they deleted some of the things they said to cover their own ass. Shark also thought Dan was cheating, but a couple days later she flips on me and tells me that “dan doesn’t know how to code, I asked him questions”. I can only ASSUME, that Dan promised these staff members names in exchange for their loyalty. If you see where I have been “toxic” please let me know. is Juke really snitching on people for doing virtually the same thing that got him banned like, do you see yourself, man? And Dan is really sat there like, "yeah just be a snitch for me now, thanks" Can they please use that energy on the actual website and do something like, idk, forum/SB moderation for once? Moderating based on what people say about you outside of a game is strange and unusual.

This is Shinigami/Shini. Me, Hell, Shino, and Zuzu were all banned without warning because we knew Dan was cheating during the clearing. I was literally just existing on the site out of the sb and then the page refreshed and it said I was banned. I have been on Res since 08 and it was a big part of my childhood. Res helped me get through a bad divorce and Res helped me deal with the abuse I was being put through. I am severely mentally ill and Res was my way to escape from it all. Fuck Dan.

- They don’t understand what Rescreatu means to people. They just care about themselves :(
