Art hasn't been a priority as of late, and I'm not sure when it will be again... buuut, I've got some doodles here and there I don't think I've shared!

Big nose Dingo making a joke about Bernard's own nose ... inspired by my first playthrough, Bernard's side profile had me in its CLUTCHES... I truly don't recall there being much space between his nose and the glass lol SURPRISINGLY not a dingo issue, just Bernard
Small update: some descriptions were tweaked if not changed entirely to fit more closely with current canon characterization in the AU. The reference sheet itself is a conceptual showcase and doesn't reflect the final artstyle, characterization, and designs.
Rescue Corps reference sheet made for Rebloomed (The Pikmin AU made by me and @migslugs) that provides the AU's interpretation of these characters, as well as descriptions written in the perspective of... uh, the literal S.S Shepherd.

Not sure if you answer asks, so I apologize if you aren't. But I'm curious if you have any Pikmin head canons (Regarding the planets, characters, or anything). If you don't want to answer, that's fine too.
I'll limit myself to 4, but here are 4 of my Pikmin head canons.
1. Russ has a fear of bugs.
2. Karutians have fangs.
3. Louie is half Koppaiate.
4. Giya is a planet mostly covered in savannas (think African savannas).

I can see Russ having some sort of fear of bugs, though I'd think it'd be different than say, Erma's fear. Maybe more of disgust for them. (same guy who drinks golden pikpik carrot smoothies btw)
Fangs are CUUUTE they can bite onto things good and just swing em around
I wonder about Louie being half Koppaite. It's interesting food for thought (heh food) I wonder if that means he'd have trouble digesting anything other than fruit though? Maybe it could explain why he eats a lot, as he doesn't get too much nutritional value from his food?
And I can see that, I can see wild pups running free!

Some headcanons I got for Pikmin generally hmm...
KARUT
Karut has lots of factories since Karutians have great dandori
Karut soil cannot grow fruit, couldn't assist Koppai with their food shortage.
Karut has no moon, but Koppai is pretty visible in their nightsky during certain parts of the year. (50% larger than Venus is in our night sky)
Karut has a large agriculture scene, factories run on a lot of bio fuel grown by Karutian farmers.
GIYA
Giya is relatively small hence why they expanded into space (Collin talks about this).
Giya has 2 moons, a small but thriving space colony on the closer one, the other one is still uninhabited.
Giya has no seasons (no axis tilt) and due to this, the biodiversity is low on the planet. (oops, all dogs)
A planet with a poor culinary background, Louie would avoid Giya at all costs.
Shepherds are world famous, the planet takes pride in housing the Rescue Corps HQ.
Giya is somewhat known for their universities but definitely known for their trade schools, some run by former Rescue Corps members.
RESCUE CORPS
Yonny's dad is unknown and his mom is emotionally distant. He was essentially raised by Dingo's parents.
Dingo's parent's are rather traditional, which rubs off on him but then he meets Erma who opens his mind.
Erma has to mentally fight herself to not stop for every dog on the street. She will also educate pup owners who pull the leash on their pup.
Self indulgent but I hc Ohri to be "France" so Yonny and Dingo speak a french sounding language. (Yonny's "full name" is Papillon and this comic error where Dingo speaks French)

When Collin is tinkering with machines, he loves to put on shows in the background as he works. Though if he misses an important scene, he rewinds it and watches it with full attention.
