🌼This is my Pikmin side blog, a self-ship blog with my little love, Collin! I'm heavily OC focused with my little rookie, Io ; however, have no doubt, I adore the Rescue Corps and the Pikmin.

A handful of work doodles! There's an hour where I'm just stuck at the counter, so... I use that moment of time to doodle between customers. But!! The first doodle I actually managed to color one midshift- so when I got home, I colored in the rest!

I have a difficult time spelling Bernard's name, PLLEASEEEEE spare me. Also, I so believe Russ would bow up to Wereborb Collin - no issue - especially after that comment!

OKAY! The concept behind these doodles are of Werebulborb Collin and his feelings - those deep, more private feelings - that come to the surface and reveal themselves to his coworkers! I wanted to highlight Collin's snarky little comments toward his crew (those of which are often overlooked or not ever acknowledged) or if one does catch onto it, Collin isn't able to backpedal out of his backhanded remark. Rather, with his new form - and, perhaps the hormonal imbalance - he follows through with... sheer audacity. Collin's responses are both based on his game dialogue, annddd.. just, him being absolutely ridiculous.

I was teetering on the edge of him giving the Captain some sass, too, AS HE DOES... but... perhaps it's the newfound dog in him that cannot ignore Shepherd's spacepup training prowess.

... And theennnn there's Io. Collin likes it when his recruit is a little... uhhh, a little...featherbrained. He both likes it and dislikes it. But... that feeds into the liking it by...a lot.

Also!!! My wife doodled this little thing for me!!! HHHEEEEE<3 OHHH MY HEART COULD JUST SING, LITTLEE LOVEEEEEY DOVESSSS!!

A puppet test!

My BIGGEST inspiration for this sort of animation is John Howe, the artist behind the DGD Robot with Human Hair music videos... LIKKKE, it's been a dream of mine to work on an AMV of my own in that same way!

I only have Capcut, which I reached the max limit of tracks in order to animate this, LMAO. While the limitation changed the trajectory of the whole video, PFTT, I'm still happy with the cute interaction and experience that came from it.

IT'S LIKE... the first time I did a redraw for this thing, specifically!

One song I really want to do an AMV for in that style is Son of Robot. I think the Robot with Human Hair series suit Collin so... much... it tugs at my heart strings to think about it! I see him as a young robot. He works really hard, has a one track mind for quality, to rescue and rescue well. The story he delves into with Io contradicts his character in ways he can't retaliate against, though he tries, but... they truly change one another's whole world, their whole universe, together............

Son of Robot is a key song in their storyline, where it's of Io and Collin's first expedition together that led to this fic, here! Whiiichhh, I actually recently updated! It's been a year, so I don't think the changes are OBVIOUS, but I'm proud of the public mystery

By key song, I mean... their playlist, since that's a chronological list of their story, but the script is still a big WIP!

Written in the span of time I should've been getting ready for work;

My dreams for some reason are wanting to be nightmares again. But, there have been a few in between that appeared as if they were sent from heaven; bright and... lovely. I remember them more than the nightmares. Flex. I work nightshifts, til 7 am, 9 hours and no break, but I got someone to work with me because a regular made me feel uncomfortable. Making an accusation that a man made me feel weird is a difficult call to make, because I... give people the benefit of the doubt. But this job is hard. A lot of men say weird things to me, but this guy, although I thought he was nice, tried to grab me by the hand. Which... is unnecessary. Take... your cash. My manager helped me so that I wouldn't be alone tonight, so I'm glad for that... but if I think too hard about this job, I'll burst into tears. My coworker told me, "I could never work in the military; I would be afraid of being in danger all the time." But every shift feels this way. As I walk to work and the shifts where I walk back where I leave at 2am. I know the Lord is with me... He protects me fiercely... this job justttt...my heart really aches. I would thoroughly prefer the military over this, not only because I'm BIASED, but at least they'll equip you... and you're not alone. You always have a battle buddy. I was working solo shifts from there to there... those were so difficult. Though, I'm anticipating a response from an interview... I wish it didn't feel like I was waiting for a rescue boat to arrive.

I've been in worse ... but that doesn't make it any less scary to be brave all over again. .o. ;;

Attached above is a character I dreamt about; I saved a draft of the story, but it was a really sweet dream that made me happy! This little guy showed up and fell off the bleachers from a Rescue Corps simulation. It startled him from his seated position. I recall Collin turned to him in concern while the rest of the Corps observed the projected night scene before them. I happily caught the officer's attention, too, giggling to my wife, as I said to her that I was going to put my feet on his back. Although surprised, and with an alarmed expression, he turned to me, too!! His eyes were wide!

I looked to him, a little mischievous, I forget what I asked...

Though, without a word, he turned away with a small, amused smile.

I think he's such a gentleman for never speaking to me in my dreams. When things happen to you in your dreams... it's hardly consensual. You're just forced into it, right? So, he let me interact with him but still respected the decision, keeping quiet, yet... carried the moment with him in his smile...which is... so.... so romantic.

I was daydreaming about making purple haired character... an OC... mmmaaybbbeee...
