The girl took some pictures of me in the garden. She says I’m her “flower child.” When I came home to live with the girl and my family, I was very scared. I didn’t know that my family was nice; I thought I would have to protect myself like I had always done. My first weeks at home, I hid food in my cage just in case they decided to stop giving it to me. I was scared of my people. I thought they would try to hurt me, so I growled and snapped. That wasn’t very nice of me.
