Raven was found all alone at a San Gabriel Super Market and brought to our shelter on June 23. She has a very sweet disposition; calm, polite energy, enjoys meeting and being in the company of people. She gets along very well with other dogs. Raven went on her first weekday walk with us yesterday along with Harley, Snookie and new boy Marcel. Raven behaved very mannerly during her meets with them, during their walk together and during social and treat time on K9 Hill. Poor Slipper, a new arrival, who couldn't stop shaking out of fear 🙁😔😢 As you can imagine, many animals arrive at the shelter traumatized, scared, dirty and sometimes physically injured. So here at the shelter, we do what we can to make sure these animals feel safe and secured. We want them to know that we are here for them. Even if that means sitting with them in the kennel for hours. It's not comfortable but love make you do crazy things and our staff and volunteers really don't mind it. Whatever it takes right?
