Good boy Giggle has been in my life for a year and my love for him has no limits. He is full of sass and disapproval for me whenever I am not actively feeding him, purposely tries to ruin my photos of him by refusing to pose unless I bribe him with snacks, and throws his food bowl at me when it is empty. He also has a very poofy bum and round belly, has little ears that flap when he chews (see last video), and occasionally falls asleep on my lap. #Repost from my great friends at @yesahcansanctuary @download.ins --- 🚨 New Rescue 🚨 Meet Renata. This poor baby was found locally in a cemetery last week. The sheriff’s office dropped her off at @animalarkofarcadia and she appeared to be close to death. Animal Ark and one of the state veterinarians have been treating her due to her initial condition. Today, we were given the green light by the state to take her into our care. Renata is currently being seen by the specialist team at @bluepearlvet in Sarasota to see if a clear diagnosis can be made. Currently, we are treating her with a variety of medications. This little lady has a long road to recovery, but we are cautiously optimistic. Renata is eating well and has relatively normal stool, which is a really good sign! 🙏 I chose the name Renata because it means “born again”. Renata was left for dead in a cemetery, but was saved and treated by a handful of caring people. We hope this is just the beginning of her story. I know this is a challenging time for everyone, but if you are able to donate to Renata’s medical care, it would mean so much! No amount is too small. Our founder (@wildlifevoiceinc) @jim_abernethy filmed and photographed Gabriel when he was nearly dead! We are all overjoyed of his recovery! Update below from @yesahcansanctuary --- Gabriel is so excited every morning and this is just a little glimpse into his enthusiasm and joy for life. I find myself constantly learning from each of the sanctuary residents. Two months ago, Gabriel was rescued from horrible conditions from a property that operated as an illegal slaughterhouse. We weren’t even sure Gabriel would survive, but did everything in our power to give him a fighting chance. Gabriel is still dealing with lingering health issues, but we are confident he will live a long and happy life with us. Gabriel has every reason to not trust humans, but has only ever shown love! #tbf This little guy was found wandering in the streets of Queens NY! One can only imagine where he escaped from!😖 A family stopped to pick him up and brought him in to us.
