Merrick did not like hospitals. Being cared for when injured or sick was all well and good, his mother had been a healer after all, but hospitals smelled wrong to him, like sterile air and medication not made of herbs. He hated it here, but he had gotten pretty banged up, and unfortunately someone saw him before he could slink back into the forest to heal and lick his wounds, so here he was, in the ER, his left arm almost completely coated in blood, his leg ripped up and his head bleeding, looking like he should be unconscious yet sitting up and looking menacingly at people. Like the injured wild animal he was.
"How is it going Carter?"
"Everything is going pretty well, Dana. I was just headed down to the dinosaur museum to see if I could meet the new team of Rangers."
"Pardon me, Is there a chance you can tell me where I am?"
