Nerevar, Moon-and-star,
across the Ashlands came.
Upon his hand, at Her command,
a ring by Dwemer craft engraved.
All the Tribes, and Houses Great,
our peoples near and far,
when his words heard, planned march forward,
under Indoril banner raised.
A question from TES OC Ask: "Irna, could you please comment on the... close relationships your brother [Nerevar] has with a certain Dagoth?"
Irna be like "IDGAF" xD
Basically, as long as rumours about Nerevar hooking up with someone exist, it means that he is okay and alive. This is the only reason why Irna cares about what people say about her brother :D
I think I should add a tag for Nchuthzakh and Irna since there's a lot of content with them (and it's not the end lol).
Anyways, I found another "before/after" old art of mine, and I'm hella proud of it because it's basically 2 in 1. Love glitch effect which I used to combine two arts (yes, I created two pictures only for this one).
Okay, so below is "before". Nchuthzakh is very-very young here, less than 20 years old. She was born sick and with deformed legs, and because of that she basically had to spend her childhood in a wheelchair. She got her leg prosthetics only after the age of 20 when her body was developed enough to handle such operations; but before that... well, her parent's didn't really believe in here because she was sick so often that it was hard for her to study and gain new experience. And even after she got her new legs, for a while her own mother only saw her as a wife material, just to marry her out and basically trade her own child for other clan's benefits (which, luckily, Nchuthzakh was strong enough to refuse). She even tried to marry her daughter to Arkndchal-Savak which later became just a funny story to remember.
And here's "after". Nchuthzakh grew up, gained health and knowledge and eventually became an apprentice of Yagrum Bagarn himself. She started working on Numidium alongside other experienced Dwemer, absolutely humbling her parents who didn't think much of her. Good thing is, her mother and father left with Rourken clan and never came back, and Nchuthzakh eventually became Yalarn clan leader herself x)
Some fresh art because I saw this trend and just couldn't resist.
So I've drawn Irna on her first days in Dwemereth and many years later. From the assassin and priestess who lost her place to well-respected mender and loved woman.
She had to flee Morag Tong order despite being one of its most loyal and devoted assassins. Knowing that MT might hunt down her then friend, Arkndchal-Savak, she went to Nchuleftingth where he was at that time and warned him of the danger; eventually they left Vvardenfell together and moved to the Silent City where Arkndchal-Savak was born and lived most of the time.
Arkndchal-Savak asked the king for protection on her behalf; Dumac agreed, because Irna is Nerevar's sister (and she offered her knowledge as well) — but not before they could test her. Apart from being basically not being able to leave the city for a whole year, she had to spend her first month in Light Negation, the artifact which not only didn't let her see anything, but also suppressed her ability to sense magic beyond a small radius. This artifact isn't meant to humiliate anyone though, it's just used to not let noble and valuable visitors see what shouldn't be seen. And still... For Irna it was quite difficult.
And there is she again, but years later and not alone. Despite almost dying after the Morag Tong attack on her and lots of other hardships (pretty traumatising sometimes, to be fair), she became a respected medic and is happily married to Arkndchal-Savak, and they (who would think? and yet here we are thanks to Nerevar) mutually love each other, always protecting and deeply caring for each other. Fun fact: this is the first (and only) time they both fell in love. Neither Irna nor Arkndchal-Savak previously had any experience with love relationship like this.
And yeah, drawing so many details in such complicated angle kills me, but I caught a hyperfixation on this idea. Sooooo now I can cherish one of my best OTPs :D
As I promised, a little bit more detailed headcanon about the Dwemer culture. Nchuthzakh can tell you a lot about it.
Featuring Indoril Irna Mora aka Irna-Savak, Nerevar's twin sister (no one said he didn't have any siblings lol) and Nchuthzakh's best friend.
All of that is our with @thyrin-art headcanons which accumulated during years of RP :D
TES OC Ask question: "Explain your piercing plz. Do you have it everywhere? Is it heavy?"
Note to the frame above: remember the artificial sun in the Blackreach or Nchuthnkarst in ESO? That is that.
P.S. That handsome ginger Dwemer is Thyrin's character.
...yes, Irna is quite straightforward xD
Another old portrait of Nchuthzakh, my Dwemer OC. I have a headcanon that beards actually have a big meaning and can indicate your status in Dwemeri society; that's why women, while not being capable of growing beards and moustaches, imitate them with piercing. The heavier and more intricate the piercing is, the higher the status of the woman. I actually have a whole comic answer from TES OC ask about that, gotta post it tomorrow x)
Upd.: posted! Please proceed this way :>
Let's get started with an art I created about a year ago. Chimer OC, waiting for her husband.
