Okay, so before I continue withmy liveblog of RE6, I’ve been kind of tempted to reread the novels just out of morbid curiosity -- because they are bad. I know I’ve ranted like five times about how terrible they are (or specifically, how terribly Perry writes Wesker), but like. I can’t emphasize it enough.

I’m actually going through the Code: Veronica novel just to find this one line that encapsulates just how fucking OOC her Wesker is. Like it’s not even ‘OOC’ it’s ‘what the fuck is this who is he and why is he wearing Wesker’s face’.

(I could do the same for the RE1 novel but I’d be quoting whole paragraphs of awful.)
