It could be blamed on themself, but it could also be blamed on Candy. Their decision to come and visit them was mostly for Planty’s sake. They didn’t hate Candy though. The child seemed hurt, but they were trying. Frisk had hopes the two of them could be friends one day
It was fine, though, if things didn’t turn out. At least they could trust Candy not to be a threat to Bunny. It was a strange mutliverse when they were having such thoughts, but other children like them were dangerous. They were sure it was fine though. However, things were not as expected, and when they went to visit Candy, there seemed to be black ink everywhere. Huh. Well, they had a reasonable suspect in mind.
They proceeded to knock on the child’s room, their pace a little rushed in concern, but otherwise calm. It was fine, they were sure it was. That was the thing about the human mind. It was so easily deceived. Their tone was light when they called to the other child, their false reassurances keeping their worry down.
