Et tu reShade?!
I just want to take pics. So, why? After gShade started to capture empty pics only, I switched to the latest still DX9 compatible version of reShade. Worked wonderfully, didn't it? /s None of my google fu came up with something useful so far, so I think I'll have to ask pictureamoebae for advice soon.
PS: In case you're curious I wanted to participate in "Occult Simblr, Baby!"'s "Occultify your townies" challenge. Thanks to this I missed the deadline.
Omg I need help.. why does it say this on top of the screen when I downloaded Reshade in my sims game? Please, I just wanna play with pretty saturation.. Also, I tried to take a screenshot with Reshade somehow it didn’t take.. 😢🥺 HELP..please

So, I’ve seen a lot of people struggle with this version lately, and I’m no means an expert in this field but I wanted to share with ya’ll something that worked for me.
If you have recently installed 3.4.1 and your MXAO, DOF, ADAPTIVE FOG AND BASICALLY ANYTHING THAT DEALS WITH THE DEPTH BUFFER is not working properly, check and perform the following steps (you can check out the original tutorial by @pictureamoebae here)
Open the ReShade gui (usually shift+f2)
Navigate to the ‘Settings’ tab
In the ‘Preprocessor Definitions’ box find the line: RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED
If it is set to 1 it means the depth buffer is reversed. Change the 1 to 0
Navigate back to the ‘Home’ tab
Click ‘Reload’ at the bottom and wait for the shaders to recompile
PSA: for anyone using Reshade - this W3 preset works very nice with MEA. I’ve tried dosens of presets for a few days now, most of them washed the picture out or altered colors too much. This one doesn’t do it, just improves what’s already nice in vanilla game.
About MXAO
Guys, did anyone ever find a solution to the whole problem of ‘Tab’ turning of MXAO when using Reshade? It’s so strange, sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesnt, but right now its happening and I dont know what to do.. I know that this seems to be a common problem, and if anyone knows a way around it I’d be so very grateful if you could let me know <3
