Hello! I bring you a G-shade preset. It’s perfect for warm weather, outdoor shots, and overall regular gameplay. I have included two versions.
☀️Warm Summer - For Gameplay
This is the preset for regular gameplay. It has no heavy distant blur so it works in every atmosphere and won’t interfere with your view. This is what I’d suggest using in live mode.
🌴Warm Summer - For Photos
This is the same as the Gameplay preset but it’s got a few adjustments and a background blur so it works better with photos. This is what I’d use for photographs
⭐️ These presets are for G-shade but they can also work for Reshade. To figure out how to make G-shade presets work with reshade, watch this video.

Reshade mxao HELP
Sourcing help from the wonderful TS3 community.... i'm getting to know reshade but it seems like mxao does not work AT all for me. It does NOTHING, even with increasing the sample size and ambient occlusion amount (by like a lot). I'd love to get it to work because it seems like that's one of the things that improves the look of the graphics tenfold!!!! I have edge smoothing turned off and depth of field working... how else can I fix this? :')
Hello guys. I have an issue with gshade mxao shadow. It keep disappearing idk what to fix it’s been for months :(
SIMS 4 GSHADE HELP!!!
I've just installed gshade and my mxao does not show up in CAS. It shows up in live mode, but not in CAS. Does anyone know how to fix this?
how to i mess with mxao and put lines in preprocessor definition (where even is this?)? i didn't get that whole part of your tutorial at all, and searching on google just made me more confused. please help.
In the ReShade GUI there is a Settings tab at the top. Click on Settings to go into this tab.
Once there if you look down a little you’ll see a box that is called ‘Preprocessor Definitions’.
Inside that box there should already be 4 lines of text.
One of those lines will be:
RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED=0
The 0 might be a 1 in your case. If it is, change it to a 0.
What this does is make sure ReShade accesses the game’s depth buffer in the correct way, so you can use depth effects like DoF and MXAO.
In order to use all the options available in the MXAO shader you need to add some more lines to that box. These are the lines you need to add:
MXAO_MIPLEVEL_AO=0
MXAO_MIPLEVEL_IL=2
MXAO_ENABLE_IL=1
MXAO_SMOOTHNORMALS=1
MXAO_TWO_LAYER=1
Each goes on its own line.
After you’re done, click on Home at the top to go back to the main tab.
At the bottom of the menu there is a Reload button. Click it. All the shaders will now reload, and once they have done the changes you made to the Preprocessor Definitions box will be applied.
What you’ve done is told ReShade to let you use all the different options that are built into the MXAO shader. Without adding these lines there will be some options missing and MXAO won’t look as good as it should, and it won’t look how it does in my Clear Bloom shots.

I had another ask pretty much along the same lines as this one, so I hope this also answers your questions too, other anon.
