It can’t leave water for very long, though it loves to eat seaweed on beaches. Tame ones have to be kept moist at all times.

It evolved to leave the water just because people told it it couldn’t. It has very little defence against land predators though; it didn’t really think this plan through.
Inslorgent - Water/Dark - Sea Slug Pokémon
The vestigial limbs on its back give off a scent that incites violence around it. It can give this scent off at will; many a disliked trainer has fallen prey to this defence tactic.
