Sumo squats have become one of my favorite exercises! They're similar to regular squats in that they work the glutes, quadriceps, hamstrings, hip flexors and calves but the difference is that they also work the adductor muscles (inner thighs). . I apparently ignore my adductor group because I'm always super sore after I do these! 😂 Let's me know that I'm working! . This is one I really like giving my patients to target many muscle groups at once! (I "two-fer" if you will) I like to target as many muscles as I can when working out or prescribing exercises so people aren't working out forever! .
