2017 is here. Now what? #ResolveToBeReady for disasters. Start storing food and water. Start small. Just buy a few extra cans of food when you go to the store. Make sure you have a can opener, too. You can buy a case of 20-ounce water bottles or store water in clean plastic pop or juice bottles. Preparedness companies also sell heavy-duty plastic jugs for storing larger amounts of H2O. #BeReadyUtah (at Utah State Capitol)
Need a new year's resolution? Try preparedness. One of the easiest things to do is join the state's annual #earthquake drill: the Great Utah #ShakeOut. Register at ShakeOut.org/Utah. More than 1 million people, including 600,000 K-12 students, participated in 2016! Let's do it again! #resolvetobeready #resolutions #2017
