Respecting the Process
I am still working on respecting the process.
I am aggressively renewing my mind. It also helps me to learn more about Jesus and who I am in Jesus. My issue in the past has been that I am good at getting started, but I am horrible with routines and follow-through. A key to renewing our minds is consitency, repitition, and doing. We can hear the same proncipals all day, but if we don't put them into practice and consistently; it does no good. I guess now I am also learning endurance and follow-through. Having God's word working in ourlives deals with gaining momentum as we speak God's word over our lives. We don't want to lose momentum and disrupt the flow. THis also creates faith because we use faith because we use faith in that, especially when we begin speaking God's word over our lives and the lives of others we are speaking things that don't yet exist, into reality. We continue to do that working in faith produces more faith. Again my weak point is sticking with this routine of saying something so many times a day for this number of days is hard for me. I do as much as I CAN, and on the days I slip up and forget. I forgive myself. I go easy on myslef, and try again tomorrow. Even on the days I forget, God is still God and He is still with me and He doesn't forget. He is also not limited by my actions. God doesn't need my help taking care of the world or me. Renewijng my mind and growing is for me. I think it will help others as well to rememebr that we are in a process. We are not complete, but we are trying and moving toward that good. Today we are much more complete than we were yesterday, and we don't want to lose our momentum. Our full completion is in Christ this very second and we are complete right now in Him, but while we live and are apart from Him, we are to give Him our best and enjoy the process. Isn't it much more satisfying at the end of the day knowing you worked hard and gave your best? Knowing that today you did everything you could. Not only does God deserve our best; it creates a better quality of life for us while we wait for Him. God does deserve your best, but you deserve the peace of mind living your best brings. I fully believe God wants that for all of us, because He wants His best for us. His best is of the highest quality and standard. Do you expect God's best? Do you know you are worth His best? You are. but no one can force you to take it. This process will not be comfortable because it involves stepping out of your comfort zones to new levels with Christ. Getting God's best for your life can start today right now by you resolving to be the best you can and continueing to persue the best you are capable of. Its so worth it, because you are worth everything God has for you.
