Last weekend, we were hosted at this amazing house and farm. It is located in a natural farm belongs to dear Kostas and his green architecture organization COB, in a small village called Nessonas near Larissa.

As it is said in COB’s slogan, the house builded with earth. Kostas asking this very reasonable question while explaining the idea behind this clay house and his other similar buildings;  "In this age of environmental degradation and lack of natural resources with the thousands of hidden toxins in our homes, isn’t it reasonable to go back to more innocent and wholesome cheap building materials?".

So, renewable materials such as trees, clay and straws are used in the construction of this building. Electricity of the house produced by solar energy, heating with fireplace and wooden stove. It is possible to spend the nights of some cloudy days with candle light which also lets you to commune with the nature overall. Besides the house, the farm offers plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Baby cats, playful dogs, cheerful chickens, roosters and gooses hanging around are another source of joy.
