I’m just making Horror be 50% jacket. There is so much fluff padding in there. I’m not that good at drawing him like this yet, but I want you all to see my vision. Horror Sans whose mass is mostly jacket. He doesn’t need it, it just makes him look bigger, and probably adds like +2 DEF. Maybe he does need that, actually.

Anyways, I’d think that Horror would remind Dust of Fell. And and what if Dust thought of Fell as a sort of big brother figure. And and and and and-listen, I personally am not one for “Nightmare gang family” or whatever, but these two-these two. Yes. One-sided brothership or whatever I feel like would be funny

They probably wouldn’t hurt anyone in other AUs, since they wouldn’t have any control over the timeline they’re in, and any LV they gain from another AU would be lost upon a RESET, so it would just not be worth it. A Horrortale Aliza design :) I need to make my refs less cluttered…oh well

Okay so additional notes I couldn’t cram into the page:

Killer made her new clothes, under the directions of Nightmare(who also made him add that moon). Aliza hates Nightmare with a passion, btw, at first. The more she sees him(which is rarely) the more she starts to pity him.

And also since Aliza call Horror “Dad” and such for the funnies, she also calls HT!Paps “Uncle” occasionally, not on purpose most of the time. Paps is very aware of that xD. But she always calls Mur “Uncle,” to annoy Horror, and Killer “Aunt” because when she tried to call him Uncle at first, he shut that down pretty quickly. Then she called him Aunt, and Killer considered on whether or not he should shoot that down as well, leading to Aliza to come up with more little nicknames for him, or just accept whatever Aliza does and not care. He chose to not care. And perhaps surprisingly, Aliza doesn’t call Nightmare “Grandpa.” She is very polite with him, calling him “Sir” or “Mister,” maybe even “My Lord” if she’s feeling nice. Nightmare eats this shit up.

Uhhh some actual design notes now:

The under of her hair is the same as her soul color, because I like that. It’s just what happens to humans who fall underground in my multiverse lol. Her hair has also grown out a bit over the year, and Farmtale!Frisk likes to style it for her. The Farmtale Gang(Frisk, Chara, and Asriel) like to help and play with her a bunch. They too help her tie her shoes.

Aliza’s eyes are…strange? In Horrortale her eyes are a bit of a void? Like in the comic. Outside of Horrortale, her eyes look more normal. Horrortale does things to people.

I think that’s about it for now.

Something New!Papyrus is searching for his brother after he disappeared without a trace, there one day, gone the next. Maybe someone could help him in his search? Although, perhaps this human isn’t the best partner to have…but Papyrus is determined.

I feel crazy for this, but what if the Dusttale Player and Something New Papyrus traversed the multiverse in search of their Sanses? The Player just wants to go back to their AU with Mur so everything can go back to “normal” again, but Paps just wants his brother back cause misses him and is worried :(

Now, why does the Dusttale Player of all people want to do this? Well, they have some awareness of the state of the multiverse, and they know that both Killer and Murder are Nightmare’s servants. To them, it seems like Killer is fiercely loyal to Nightmare, and making sure he’s distracted will make it easier to get to Murder. But the Player only really knows surface level knowledge of all the AUs…

Also. Did not look at the Something New comic while drawing Paps, I just drew him based on his sprites lol. I love that he has a little cape<3

Wanted to make my own version of Nightmare, so here he is in all his goopy glory!

edit: forgot to add the the ref that he can retract his tentacles into the goop. He can do that. He can also just appear like a normal, non goopy Sans, but he doesn’t want to. Shapeshifting ftw

I wanted him to look like a sort of biblical saint/angel, you know those old paintings where they have those sick halos drawn like that. Dream also has one too, his just looks like the sun. Dream prefers to have his crown in it’s circlet form, while Nightmare prefers the halo.

Nightmare’s halo is generally more useful than Dream’s is, since telling the phase of the moon is very useful when you cannot see it and can’t keep track of time that way. That’s why Sci likes having it, since he’s like Past!Classic Sans, he’s still stuck in the Underground. The villagers didn’t really care for his crown though, since they could see the moon with their own eyes. Also Passive’s(I hate calling him that tbh, but it’s clearer this way) crown didn’t look exactly that same as Nightmare’s color wise. It was purple.

NM also enjoys being more emotionally violent than physically violent, and also prefers to not kill people. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t do any of that, but he much rather attack the mind and not the body.

NM is on the AroAce spectrum. And also NM has a crush on Ccino. He hates that he does and Passive makes fun of him for that. Passive likes to bully NM a lot when he doesn’t have…violent ideas of his own to share with NM. NM and Passive get along better and also worse than you might think. It’s complicated.

Dreamtale and the Nightmares by Joku-Blog

I’ve been thinking about doing a part 2 to this with the next lines. Who knows if I’ll do. God I love this song.

Also, the Dreamtale twins have halos instead of their typical crowns. They still call them crowns tho, weirdos. Passive’s crown covers his eye, and acts like one, being pretty emotive. Corrupted’s crown isn’t emotive, it matches the current phase of the moon wherever he is.
