Blog News/Update:

Sorry again for the really sparse updates, finals week has had me absolutely demolished and baguette and I haven’t been able to really work together for any posts D: I’ll be moving in back home today so summer officially begins for me. I’m going to try to keep update a lot more frequent with more guides and what not.

I've heard that items are deleted after a VAC ban. Is this true or does it only apply for Perma-bans?

Items are deleted after a VAC ban in Team Fortress 2, unless they are store bought items from the Mann Co. Store (I believe). 

But yes, VAC banning in TF2 is bundled with backpack deletion which is why most hackers are on profiles with little amounts of hours and next to no items. Of course with VAC countering against LMAOBOX finally, this information is a little useless. Hackers are going to be less likely to be around so the traditional spot someone fishy with no hats or hours sniping good is…eh. 

If anyone is interested, I could do a guide on how to spot hackers or on general hacking in TF2. Although, what I know about this topic is a bit less now that VAC changed some things.

My sincerest apologies about the current lack of new content on the blog, as it is I’ve been finishing my semester here at Uni and I’ve got a couple weeks left before I’m free. My fellow mod baguettefeels is around to respond to questions and such a bit more but there’s a few requested guides and I haven’t yet had the time to compile for people. (Namely the general how to play spy and mvm Pyro guides). 

As soon as I get out and move back in at home, I’ll be spending more time building and expanding the blog and researching the guides I’ve got lined up. Otherwise, thank you for the consideration. :)

A Tip for Heavies

You can keep your minigun revved without firing it by pressing Mouse 2 or rightclicking. Use this mechanic to be prepared for enemies at any time. Revving up the minigun will still allow you to move, just at a slower pace. So keep this in mind :)
