Yes 🙂↕️ they would both eventually figure it out. here’s what i did with the fucks in this story. it’s kinda weird stay with me. basically this is half power struggle half trying to understand themselves through the other person but both are a little selfish so this takes a while. the first time they’re together they’re both drunk, edmund is trying to showboat, and arthur is too in her feelings to be able to articulate what she wants. they end up unsatisfied and it contributes to a really big fight the next day where arthur kinda abandons edmund and he gets himself kidnapped lol. they have a few other opportunities but don’t go all the way, and each time they get closer it seems they’re now thinking a little about the other instead of solely about themselves. the last time in the book that they do it, edmund basically lets go of his titles and expectations and says please and lets her lead, and she stops thinking about what she’s supposed to be doing or not supposed to be doing in this in between genders situation she finds herself in and just lets herself be loved. so long way to say, they will both figure it out eventually lol
