Hello everyone! Today, I wanna remark something that had escaped my attention for days apparently...
And it's this interaction:
Let's take it from the top. We know who Squirm is by now. A deeply troubled individual that has intense self-worth issues, a constant identity crisis and the need for constant reassurances that he's not as bad as he thinks he is. His dialogues almost all have him sniffle or cry. He's constantly worried about his performance and that he's never enough.
And that Squirm. Went ahead and told Astro that he'll work harder so he'd do less. Yes, THAT Squirm. He even insisted on it when Astro rejected the offer, saying he wants to help.
And that's what sold me on Squirm's character. It was definatly influenced by the fact that the only time he seemed ready to take on a challenge was to make Astro's run easier. But it still made me appreciate him a lot more.
Also, Astro, how badly did you look when you said that for SQUIRM of all people to tell you indirectly you need a break and that they'd do the job for you just to rest a bit? It's honestly getting concerning how many people remarked on you not doing so hot!
Anyways, that's all I wanted to say. I think it was something worth pointing out!
I miss Marchy
friendly reminder to my friends in hospitality, whether you see tourists or not, take care because it's petri dish season rn 🤧
What a shit show…anyways hope the guys have the best time during a well deserved break.
I want them moving like this:
//This is not how I wanted to return to this blog.
To all of my fellow Americans, I'm sorry.
This is a dark and trying time for all of us. I wish I could offer you more than just a paltry message from a screen and a keyboard. But I ask you, stay strong. Don't let them beat you down.
We are strong. We are resilient.
We are human.
Christmas Eve: I officially made it through yet another retail holiday season!!
