Another trip to the restaurant, another great #restaurantphysicslesson (follow the tag please) It failed repeatedly which got us some interesting looks from the staff and a plate full of wet towels. How it works? Fill a shot glass to the brim with water and place a credit or business card on top. Flip it and the water stays in. YAY! That's the theory but in practice it failed us a few times. What happens? The water forms a seal with the shot glass that doesn't permit air to get in so the entire contraption stays together.
