when you’re making your hard-boiled eggs, it’s important to lower your eggs into boiling water using a slotted spoon rather than letting them sit at the base of the pot as you bring the water to a boil. not only will your eggs be cooked unevenly, but you run the risk of burning them! be safe! use a spoon!
