USS BROOKLYN (CL-40) anchored off Portsmouth, New Hampshire. BROOKLYN was part of the USS SQUALUS (SS-192) salvage fleet.
Here we see the crew of BROOKLYN using her stern aircraft crane to transfer supplies to other vessels in the salvage fleet.
