Why does it always seem like Momo hates He Tian/ shouldn't they have moved past this?
No. Momo was heavily traumatised and never learnt how to deal with his emotions. He only knows violence. He Tian is also someone who loves being provocative because he likes this angry side of Momo. He never means true harm with it but he doesn't know where to draw the line. I think this makes their love so tragic. They love each other so deeply that they cannot be without each other but they still hurt each other and somehow cannot prevent this. He Tian leaves Mo Guan Shan alone without much explanation. He just comes and goes as he pleases. Mo Guan Shan does not know how to handle grief and love, aside from pushing it all away and bottling it up until he snaps. He hardly ever initiates contact either so he needs He Tian to come back and push him a little. He needs the push but that doesn't change that it still hurts him.
