love that I got to enjoy the benefits of New XKit’s new “Retags” extension (that I guess replaced Tag Viewer?) for, like, a week and a half before Tumblr made it stop working I guess.

Thanks, Tumblr. Thanks for repeatedly taking away the ability to see tags in reblog notes. Literally the ONE thing I would like to see most when I look at my notes.

hey so i've reported this issue months ago, a few times, but here's another attempt. i'm using the latest chrome mac, and i'm getting a "warning: you are running multiple copies of retags." x2 on the little lightning icon on the dash, it's only that popup there that i see the warning message. i've tried reinstalling retags, but that only fixes it for a little while.

We’re looking into this and should have a fix out shortly.

HEY so I’m really happy about tumblr’s update to show tags in the notifications but I find them difficult to read so!! I made a lil script that highlights the tags and has a mode that kinda works like Retags from x-kit  👀

What it does is it highlights the tags when the filter "Show tags added in Reblogs" is enabled. It also adds a button for Tagged Reblogs Only mode in the activity page.

JUST a sidenote tho, it may take a while to hide the untagged notifications when you enable it (it’s the limitation of the script) so if it’s taking too long, just try scrolling down or interacting with any of the notifications (like left/right-clicking or dragging) to update it! ;u;b

You can install the script using a browser extension like Tampermonkey (Chrome) or Greasemonkey (Firefox)

but OF COURSE the day one of mine posts blows up is the day tumblr changes and doesnt let me see the retags. ofc
