Probably still needs some work, but I took time in the middle of assessment prep to doodle up some pre-fall of Beacon design concepts for these guys! Ye.
Some design notes for anyone who are interested:
Chris Jean (turquoise blue):
- Gave her a more cutesy image to fit better into the whole “sheltered rich kid with a protective father” vibe she has based on her background.
- I definitely changed her design from her super old one which in some ways I kinda miss, and I wanted to incorporate it, but maybe some other time.
- Since her current post-vol3 design had darker colours, I went with lighter colours to give contrast and show that she’s changed and grown.
- She has normal braids which is very reminiscent of one of Chris’ earlier designs.
Kestrel (sort of redhead):
- ...I ran out of ideas and decided to look at his previous designs.
- He looks like he tried to dress up for school for the first time and it’s kind of hilarious.
- He’s one of the ones whose design I want to work on.
Reti (light haired):
- His scar isn’t on his face! He gained his scar during the battle of Beacon/fall of Beacon. It’s kinda angsty, but he’s fine.
- Idk I wanted to give him a fun and fab outfit to match his sorta smug-looking face.
- He reminds me of knife cat. :3c
Vin (green sash):
- I’m not sure what I was going for this. I like the jacket, though.
- I definitely want to rework this one.
- I’m gonna try and look at his old design before the revamp. Maybe I’ll make him a bit fancier like the vibe I gave him before.
