Jango Aims His Whipcord Launcher
STAR WARS EPISODE II: Attack of the Clones 01:01:52
I had to do a little conjecture and connecting dots here for this post. First, both the Episode II and Complete Visual Dictionaries list Jango's whipcord launcher as being on his left gauntlet, but he clearly fires it from his right in the film. (The Complete Visual Dictionary also misspells his WESTAR-34 blaster).
The New Essential Guide to Weapons and Technology states that Jango had a Prax Arms Velocity-7 dart shooter incorporated into his gauntlets to fire the Kamino saberdart at Zam Wesell.
Some promo shots of Jango in his Mandalorian armor even include the Kamino saberdart still loaded into the Velocity-7 shooter on his right gauntlet.
Boba Fett's Armor: An Essential Guide to a Walking Weapon by Bill Smith for the Boba Fett one-shot magazine, lists Boba's whip launcher as being on his right gauntlet. While this is 26 years later, and Boba doubtless upgraded many parts of his father's armor, the gauntlets still look the same.
Secondly, the Boba Fett's Armor guide lists the rocket on Boba's left gauntlet as being a Kelvarek Consolidated Arms MM9 mini concussion rocket, and it looks pretty much the same as Jango's "gauntlet projectile dart shooter" as defined in the Visual Dictionaries, so I labeled it as such.
Thirdly, Jango deploys blades from his gauntlets shortly after this, and I used the term "vamblade" (vambrace + blade) which seems to have been created for the 2019 Fantasy Flight Games RPG supplement Gadgets and Gear. Coincidently, Prax Arms who makes the Velocity-7, also makes an S-1 Vamblade.
