just to be very clear if you ever see me pointing out that a character who’s widely headcanoned as gay, trans, nb, ace, etc is NOT queer in confirmed canon, there’s a good reason for it and it’s not about trying to shoot down representation. it’s because I get sick and tired of queer subtext and little hints being dropped that ultimately go nowhere. I’m not gonna get all excited unless the creators have the guts to make it indisputably canon, like Bryke did with Korrasami or Rebecca Sugar does with multiple characters.

otherwise I’ll say oh, those two characters of the same gender are really physically and emotionally close and everything points at them being gay? wonderful. now make it fucking canon and stop baiting us. I’m tired.
