"fun" fact #1: the awful conversation between those guys on the train was based on an actual conversation the creator of Madoka overheard on a train. fact #2: Walpurgisnacht is the eve of St. Walpurgis's Day, 6 months from Halloween, when witches gathered atop the highest mountain in Germany in Goethe's "Faust" (y'know, the famous story about a guy who made a deal with the devil, trading his soul for temporary power). so, clearly nothing to worry about! not even a little bit.

You know, our winters where I live have been nastier than normal for the past few years. Not everyone has snow chains and there are some morons who drive too fast on slippery roads. People fall and break limbs even when they wear ice-cleats sometimes.

The other day, freezing rain fell and made all the snow wet, and froze it over so it's thick, slippery snow-ice. The roads are too dangerous for many people, so yeah, we're cancelling.

We may be used to winter weather, but we're not stupid.

It is kinda ironic though.

And again, considering that 17-year-old Blaze slapped 10-year-old Ako across the face, I'm a bit worried that Shadow's gonna pull the same stunt on either Aguri or Regina. And I don't care what he says, you DO NOT hit a child for no reason, nor do you just brush it off and never fucking apologize. (I'm still pissed about that, can you tell? I mean, I know it's Gary-Stu badfic, but Jesus...)
