Retrocrap of the Moment:
The best-possible ending to the game "Doom".
Keep in mind... this is the 'best' ending. You can't achieve this on easier levels as it basically punishes you with death after completing the game.
Moral of the story: Don't take the easy way. And the hard way sucks ass too.
RetroCrap of the Moment:
1982 Zaxxon arcade TV Commercial
The first ever television commercial for an arcade game. Produced for $150,000 by Paramount.
The main thing I remember about this was the disappointment when I played the actual game. While it's visuals were still stunning for the time, the commercial made it seem as if you were going to be playing from a first-person 3D perspective, rather than the isometric perspective. Still a cool game tho, and an all-time classic.
