Adam and Eve took a bite of the forbidden apple in the garden of eden. They became aware of their nudity. In order to do this they must first have gained a new perspective, the ability to see the self from a different set of internal eyes - the ego. 

Now we look into our devices adorned with the logo of a bitten apple to see all the ways that we feel naked - exposed and left out of the life we feel we should be living.
