Man, it’s been a while since I’ve posted on here, eh?
To help ease the pain, here’s an in-progress shot I’m working on as part of the My Life as a Teenage Robot Reanimated collaboration! In the same spirit as the ones done for Dover Boys, Cartoon All-stars, and Courage the Cowardly Dog, this is about getting a bunch of animators and fans together and completely re-doing the pilot episode of the show, shot by shot. This is the ending portion of my piece of it all, and I still have somewhere between 4 and 5 seconds left of it. Hoping to have the finished clip done within the week, so fingers crossed!
Jack Hubert just posted a nice little showcase of some of the art I’ve posted over the past few years; check it out!
I was interviewed yesterday by Jack Hubert of the My Life as a Teenage Robot Fanbase, and now the video has been uploaded!

I normally try to keep my regular life out of the business I have with the MLAATR community, but circumstances have gotten so serious that I need to open up a bit.
Since I graduated in May, I've been stuck job hunting without getting any results. I'm in this sort of grey area of being over-qualified for minimum-wage jobs and lacking the experience for anything career-level. On top of that, I'm in seriously dire straits in terms of my finances, which isn't going to go away until I land me some work.
I've been taking - and will continue to take - every option at my disposal, but there is one in particular that I've been hesitant to use: commissions. There are three reasons for this:
A lack of faith in my own abilities. This has for the most part faded, since the vast majority of feedback I've been getting from others has been extremely positive.
Uncertainty of a paying audience. I know that there are a bunch of you out there that love my art and a few with jobs of your own, but it seems like the combination of both is going to be a minority.
Permission. This is the biggest reason of all. Fanart exists in a sort of legal grey area, and there are plenty of artists that have made quite a living off of it while the studios basically turn a blind eye, so this is honestly more personal: I just don't feel like undertaking something without the blessing of some level of authority.
So I'd like some feedback from all of you on this topic. Would it be worth it?
In "Girl of Steal" (S03E09), Jenny created a villainous disguise in order to mask her theft of a precious and rare Musique device; using her robot powers to blend in with a store display, she became known as the Ruby Rocket and briefly became Tremorton's public enemy number one. When she eventually did the right thing and turned herself in, she thought that this identity was behind her. Little did she know that - in the not-too-distant future - she would again encounter this dark side...but this time she wouldn't be in control. Will she be able to unmask the true face of this fiendish character? Will the citizens of Tremorton be fooled into thinking that Jenny is behind the recent spate of robberies? Stay tuned to find out, as I present my latest comic based on the MLAATR series: "The Ruby Rocket Revived!"
...sooooo, I made this. Yep. You can find the video I was supposed to be reacting to here.
