In 1811, the first music boxes were produced in Sainte-Croix, Switzerland. This piano music box was made by the Reuge Company in the late 20th century. The Reuge family have been in the music box industry since 1865. This music box plays “The Entertainer” from famous ragtime pianist and composer, Scott Joplin.
