Upcycling: Wallets from used milk cartons and meditation benches from scrap wood
In Kollektivet Bethlehem we put a great deal of effort into reusing as many materials as possible. Thus we have severale projects going on for the moment. These following 2 are pretty easy to do and proves as an example of what to do with your things you might have at hand
Tine made these wallets. Although also Robin and Ben has been doing these kind of things.
It's pretty simple when you first get the hang of it.
They are very sustainable, they are colourful, and these soy milk cartons will have a perfect fit with your credit cards.

If you're doing meditation and your knees aren't a very well fit with the full lotus position, you might want to use a meditation bench; they raise you bottom thus elevating your spine. and they're good for the knees.
2 different modela has been build so far. Solely from materials we had lying around: wood. hinges or wooden plugs, and screws. It's a pretty easy job. Sand paper, a saw, a power driller are pretty essential tools as well.

They can also be used as common ergonomic chairs helping you to sit in a more comfortable and healthy way for your back, when you're for example sitting with your laptop.
This is just a few examples of how you turn your useless scrap and trash into practicality. Be creative and think pragmatic, and you're household can prove to consist of wonderful upcyclable trash!
