The Wild Bunch (1969). An aging group of outlaws look for one last big score as the "traditional" American West is disappearing around them.

With a genuinely stellar cast (William Holden! Ernest Borgnine!), this is a Western with a lot to offer. It’s interesting, well-made and seems to enjoy really diving deep into its own tropes and genre constraints. Unfortunately - as I’ve said multiple times now on this blog - I’m not big on westerns, and this one utilises the genre a little too much for me. Still, it’s a solid film, and one to watch if you like the genre. 7/10.
