Commander Cody punched one (1) droid on Christophsis, but by the time the war's over, he actually faced an entire battalion by himself, using their General's 'misplaced' lightsaber. His blaster was knocked out of his hand and he actually took out the first 100-200 droids without any weapons, just with his fists and by tricking them to shoot each other, but then he saw Obi-Wan's saber lying on the ground and realised it would be quicker to use it -- he's all about efficiency. Obi-Wan fully believes this. Cody has never corrected any of them.

reverse unpopular opinion: anarchism

anarchism does a very good job in its identification of issues present in society. while I often disagree with the proposed causes or understanding of said issues, anarchists do generally have fair understandings of what problems are faced by society today. I also think the dedication to ruthless critique can be learned from especially for liberals. while again, there may be some issues with the methodology at hand, I appreciate how anarchism interrogates structures and systems in society and has no qualms challenging things most would take as fundamental or accept a priori

Fave chapter from your fic : 100% the Ken chapter in You Can Fall. I love that entire series but i feel like that specific chapter solidified its greatness for me. D&P's vulnerability, learning how to communicate, admitting to themselves & each other that its REAL. *chef's kiss*

Runner up for me is the chapter where Patrick went hiking and talked to Ben to say goodbye. When he realized that he doesnt have to choose between David & Ben but if he does, the clarity that he will choose David. Ughhh so beautiful

🥹 Well, this is incredibly nice of you. I really wanted to get the Ken chapter right - ultimately it was a way of forcing the issue of whether what they had was real, like you said. It's them choosing to stay and fight for their relationship.

“God, I’m so tired,” you moaned, rubbing your temples before refocusing on the  task at hand- dinner. 

“Babe, I can do this. Why don’t you go take a nap?” Natasha suggested, rubbing your shoulders. 

“No, I am capable of raising three children at once,” you sighed. 

“Y/N,” Nat’s voice grew serious, “You don’t need to prove anything. Everyone knows you are extremely capable of raising three kids. There’s nothing wrong with being tired and wanting a nap. You just gave birth for the third time.”

You nodded, turning around and falling into your wife’s arms. 

“I know, I just... I wanted to prove I'm super mom. I’m an Avenger, there’s no reason I can’t be.”

Nat shook her head. “You’re already a super human for every single person on the planet, including your children and me. Being a super mom is already included in that.”

Your wife never said the wrong thing, and her words had you melting even further into her. With a sigh, you agreed to a nap, and Natasha took over dinner, happy to do whatever she could.

okay, I'm struggling so hard to think of an opinion right now for some reason lol - okay here's something: I like reading opinions that are different than mine sometimes in fandom. sometimes I like looking at ships that I don't even personally feel drawn to just to understand what other people are thinking. I've always been obsessed with overanalyzing fiction & that's why I'm drawn to fandom, so seeing everyone's outlooks is just interesting to me. now clearly some takes will make me mad, some ships give me a bad gut reaction I'm only human, but I'm talking in a very general sense right now - for the most part, I like to hear other people out because it's super interesting how everyone reacts differently & comes up with different ideas. also to be clear I don't do this to argue or to make myself mad, I literally mean just to consider a different viewpoint & sometimes I might even be convinced to consider something I hadn't before which is like a win (again, other times I'm just like yikes, no. just depends on the specifics. but just to be clear I'm not a dick who seeks out other opinions to argue, that's not what I mean. just to observe)

Okay I get the sentiment. I am having no luck thinking of anything interesting opinions to share with anyone. Because it also has to be interesting or relevant to a specific person person, not just me.

Sometimes it is just nice to see things from others perspectives. Because maybe, just maybe, I am missing out on something and maybe I should like that thing I don't.

But even when it doesn't amuse me and I still dislike it their could be nuggets of gold in their commentary. Something about a character that is true, but you never noticed before. Its kind of like the comics, most people I know on this site hate them. But almost everyone is also aware of what happened in them and most of the details. For 90% of what happened is thrown out and ignored. But Kiyi shows up in almost every Ursa is found or returns story. That is because Ursa moves on from Zuko and Azula because she had to is interesting (yes I had to bring up Ursa, it me after all). This is one of those things that spread because people take the time to at least be familiar with content they know they dislike.
