Joe Nelson - Outside throws, tennis / ping pong, reverse cascade
Here's the thing
and I'll make it quick because I have a meeting
I already pointed out that there are several people in the running to defeat Lord English. And Aranea, resident exposition girl (although possibly corrupt) tells us he can only be defeated by "a series of glitches and loopholes in paradox space". It won't be one thing or person that takes him down. We need a series! Everyone will have to work together. After all:
Sooner or later you will have to face the fact that literally all adventures are about learning the value of teamwork. Teamwork and friendship. The two razor sharp edges of the mighty excalibur which EVERY hero should keep in his scabbard.
We've even got teamwork referred to as Excalibur, which as we know is the Anglicized name for Dave's Welsh sword, something that can actually hurt the Lord of Time.
What will take Lord English down will most likely be a carefully choreographed series of events (hopefully presided over by a savvy Seer or two) that occur in many different places and even timeframes while remaining circumstantially simultaneous. They'll have to juggle (yes I choose that word intentionally) a number of artifacts, powers, cheats, and more in order to make everything go as it should. Everything will need to be in motion at the same time, interacting and working in tandem without interfering or colliding with other aspects of the plan.
In fact, you could describe the gambit they need to undergo as a
reverse cascade.
