(Reference, technique used and time spent behind the cut)
1) Reference was a promo picture of Tom Hiddleston as Loki from the movie "The Avengers" (2012). Of course I inverted the colours of this picture (= negative) in Photoshop before I started to draw (I used the normal and the inverted picture for reference). The four colour pencils are just on the photo to show the effect and I used a few more colours for this drawing. Paper DIN A4 190g/m², Faber-Castell Polychromos artists' colour pencils, time: maybe 12 hours? 2) Reference was a screencap of Tom Hiddleston as Loki from the movie "Thor" (2011), where he discovered that he is a frost giant / adopted. Of course I inverted the colours of this picture (= negative) in Photoshop before I started to draw (I used the normal and the inverted picture for reference). You can see all colours (colored pencils and marker) that I used for this drawing at the bottom of this photo.
